Job summary

Cygnet Meadow Mews is seeking an Activity Co-ordinator to plan, deliver and promote a wide range of therapeutic, recreational and wellbeing activities for residents. You will work closely with the Occupational Therapist and the wider team to ensure activities are meaningful, safe and person-centred, helping individuals build confidence and daily living skills.

The role requires creativity, compassion and strong organisation, with a focus on recovery, social inclusion and community engagement

Qualifications

• Experience or passion for working in healthcare, mental health, or social care is desirable.
• Ability to plan engaging, meaningful activities within a care setting.
• Comfortable working in an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and promote therapeutic, recreational and wellbeing activities.
• Support Occupational Therapist and team in therapy programmes.
• Source materials and equipment for activities and ensure safety and individual care plans are followed.
• Contribute ideas for activities and group sessions.
• Promote recovery, independence and social inclusion through activities.
