Job summary

Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Theatre Practitioner to lead the theatre team and ensure delivery of high-quality patient care within the Elective division.

You will uphold the NMC/HCPC Code of professional conduct, drive local policy development, and work with the senior nursing team to meet KPIs and IPS standards. This role supports service improvement in a values-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Registrant with current NMC/HCPC pin.
• Theatre experience is essential.
• Evidence of professional leadership.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong teamwork and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Act as a clinical team leader within the Theatre department and supervise the service.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care according to policies.
