The Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Band 6 Theatre Practitioner to support elective and emergency surgical services across multiple specialities. You will rotate across anaesthetics, scrub and recovery, contributing to safe perioperative care and patient-focused outcomes.

You will demonstrate clinical leadership, support junior staff and students, and participate in education, governance and service development within a large NHS trust.

Competenze

• Registered ODP or Registered Nurse with relevant qualifications and experience.
• Band 6 level with rotation across theatre disciplines (anaesthetics, scrub, recovery).
• Commitment to high standards of perioperative care and patient safety.

Mansioni

• Work as an integral member of the multidisciplinary theatre team delivering perioperative care.
• Rotate across anaesthetics, scrub and recovery according to service needs and competencies.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centred care and document escalations when required.
• Lead by example, support junior staff and contribute to audit and governance.
