Job summary

Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 5 Theatre Practitioner Scrub Nurse to join the Day Surgery Unit at West Berkshire Community Hospital. You will scrub and circulate across specialties including Maxillo Facial, Plastics, General Surgery, ENT, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics and Vascular, with opportunities in recovery and Endoscopy.

Job description

The role involves scrubbing and circulating for a variety of specialist areas including Maxillo Facial, Plastics, General Surgery, ENT, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics and Vascular. There will also be the opportunity to work in other areas such as recovery and our Endoscopy area.

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Band 5 Theatre Practitioner Scrub Nurse to work within our dynamic Theatre team at the West Berkshire Community Hospital, Day Surgery Unit (Theatres and Endoscopy).

The Unit is open 8am - 6pm.

Applicants must be an HCPC registered ODP or a NMC registered nurse with scrub experience., We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Theatre Practitioners who aspire to learn and develop to join our inspirational team.
