Job summary

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Pain Management Procedures Clerk to support the scheduling and maintenance of procedure room bookings and theatre scheduling. You will manage waiting lists and ensure compliance with Trust protocols, maintaining confidentiality and data quality across procedures.

You will liaise with clinicians and managers to support the 18-week referral to treatment pathway and strive for an efficient, high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, leadership, operational and inter-personal skills.
• In-depth knowledge of waiting list booking processes and systems.
• Familiarity with PTL management and IT tools relevant to theatre scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate an approachable, courteous, efficient appointment service to patients and professionals.
• Maintain waiting lists and theatre schedules in line with Trust protocols and 18-week RTT pathway.
• Coordinate with clinicians and managers to ensure efficient theatre utilisation and patient preparation.
