Job summary

KIMS Hospital in Maidstone is recruiting a Theatre Practitioner (RGN or ODP) for a full-time, permanent role in our theatres team. You will provide scrub support, participate in perioperative care, and work closely with consultants in a state-of-the-art environment.

The role offers structured development opportunities, a commitment to patient-centred care, and a supportive, collaborative culture. Applicants must have current NMC/HCPC registration and post-registration scrub experience.

Contract: Full Time, Permanent 40 Hours Per Week

Working Pattern: 07:30 – 18:00 between Monday and Saturday. Saturdays are 1 per month on average.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing expert scrub support for general and orthopaedic cases.
• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care
• Collaborating effectively with departments such as Imaging, Wards, and Sterile Services
• Ensuring patient dignity, comfort, and confidentiality at all times
• Upholding ethical and legal standards in your own practice and that of your colleagues

• Registered Practitioner (RGN or ODP) with current NMC/HCPC registration
