The role

We are looking for a dynamic and passionate practitioner, providing high-quality current care throughout the perioperative environment. You will have experience in one or two of the following disciplines: Scrub, Anaesthetics, or Recovery. Scrub experience is essential in elective Orthopaedics and/or elective Ophthalmology.

You’ll also have access to the Ramsay Academy, with potential to gain your SFA qualification, and the chance to develop your career across our 30+ network of independent hospitals across the UK. Where you’ll be based

The Cherwell Hospital, purpose-built in 2006, combines an exceptional standard of patient accommodation with modern medical facilities. It features three laminar airflow theatres and a newly built Ophthalmology suite with a Surgicube. The hospital is a 40-bed inpatient and day-case facility, mainly specializing in Orthopaedic and Ophthalmology Surgery. It is part of the Ramsay Health Care group, serving private, insured, and NHS patients.

What you’ll bring with you

• NMC/HCPC Registered
• Previous Orthopaedic and/or Ophthalmic Scrub experience, and/or Anaesthetics & Recovery experience
• Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) desirable but not essential
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing needs
• A passion for delivering excellent patient-focused service
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Proven computer skills
