Role - Online Tutor

Location: Online

Rate: £20 - £25 per hour

We are seeking Remote Tutors with a genuine passion for transforming the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners across the UK.

At Aspire People, our goal is to enhance the standard of educational support for vulnerable young people. Our team supports each placement with SEN / SEND Support Specialists to ensure success.

We aim to improve education quality for young people with SEN / SEND, including SEMH needs, MLD, and SLD, among others.

This role is ideal for qualified SEN / SEND teachers interested in 1:1 tutoring, using creative, flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed approaches to improve engagement and educational outcomes.

Role Responsibilities:

• Providing Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other needs
• Supporting children referred by local authorities and schools in their educational and social-emotional development
• Delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring tailored to individual needs

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Planning tutoring and mentoring sessions
• Delivering engaging, holistic sessions to meet individual needs and promote progress
• Completing lesson reports and providing feedback on progress

Requirements:

• (Preferred) Qualified Teacher Status
• Minimum 6 months' experience
• Experience teaching online
• Experience working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other additional needs
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures
