Job summary

Fortius Clinic is seeking a Clinical Operations Lead to coordinate Theatre services and support outstanding patient care. You will lead day-to-day theatre operations, balance clinical practice with leadership, and ensure safe, efficient delivery of surgical services in a fast-paced environment.

You will remain clinically active, undertaking scrub duties as required while managing a team of theatre professionals and driving performance improvement.

Qualifications

• Registered Practitioner with current NMC or HCPC registration.
• Five years post-registration experience with operating theatres.
• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
• Qualified Surgical First Assistant and mentoring qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day coordination of the Operating Theatre Department.
• Monitor theatre utilisation, patient flow and staffing levels.
• Ensure lists are resourced with equipment, implants and consumables.
• Provide visible clinical leadership and maintain patient safety.
• Balance clinical duties with operational responsibilities.
