Job summary

Circle Health Group is seeking an Instrument Coordinator to support the Theatres department on an as-and-when-required basis. You will ensure instruments are prepared, decontaminated, and delivered promptly, while tracking endoscopes and managing theatre consumables.

The role requires theatre or sterile services experience, strong organisational skills, and adherence to infection control standards in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in theatre or clinical support role.
• Familiar with infection control and decontamination processes.
• Ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced setting.
• Knowledge of theatre equipment and inventory systems.
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health or Care Services or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and availability of surgical instrumentation.
• Coordinate tracking and management of theatre endoscopes.
• Assist in ordering and replenishment of theatre consumables.
• Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Participate in audits and stock reviews for traceability.
• Work within Circle Health Group policies and procedures.
