Responsibilities

• Prepare the anaesthetic room and operating theatre, including equipment and drugs; ensure safety checks.
• Adhere to Trust policies and national guidelines (e.g. WHO Surgical Safety Checklist).
• Rotate through department areas as required, including trauma, on a 24-hour basis.
