Job summary

Basildon University Hospital is seeking an Anaesthetic Practitioner to join the operating theatres team on a flexible shift pattern. You will identify and assemble equipment, prepare the clinical area and support patients and families with clear communication during elective, emergency, and trauma procedures.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prepare and assemble equipment for the relevant operating list.
• Prepare and organise the clinical area for receiving patients for elective, emergency, and trauma procedures.
• Support patients and families, communicating clinical information clearly to ensure understanding.
• Contribute to ongoing development of patient care in operating theatres through knowledge sharing.
