Job summary

Bowmay Consulting is seeking a General Manager for an established garment manufacturing business in Lancashire. The role focuses on taking the next step from Production/Operations leadership, driving performance and growth with a commercially minded, hands-on approach.

You’ll lead day-to-day production, identify efficiencies and shape the next stage of the company’s journey while benefitting from mentoring from the MD and a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Textile manufacturing background; garment manufacturing not required.
• Ambitious Production Manager or experienced Operations Manager seeking a bigger challenge.
• commercially minded with curiosity and a willingness to challenge status quo.
• Hands-on leader who rolls up sleeves and makes things happen.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of the production facility and work with the team to improve performance.
• Drive efficiencies, continuous improvement and identify opportunities for growth.
• Lead and develop the operations and understand the commercial impact of decisions.
• Collaborate across production, people and commercial activity as the business grows.
