Bowmay Consulting is seeking an experienced Technical & Quality Lead to head a small team in a busy textiles manufacturing site in Derby. The role combines technical leadership with quality, product development and customer support to move concepts through to bulk production.

Qualifications
- Strong technical textiles background essential.
- Senior-level experience in technical textile manufacturing.
- Experience with dyeing, finishing, coating or lamination advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Lead, develop and motivate the Quality & Technical team.
- Oversee R&D, product development and quality management.
- Manage product development from concept to bulk production.
- Provide technical support to sales, customers, suppliers and production teams.
- Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Manage customer and supplier audits and technical assessments.
- Maintain and improve quality, environmental and technical systems.
- Work cross-functionally across production, purchasing, sales and customers.
- Drive continuous improvement and right-first-time thinking.
