Job summary

University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Testing Manager to lead testing across a portfolio of digital systems and transformation programmes. You will oversee planning, coordination and delivery of testing, ensuring solutions meet functional requirements before deployment.

Reporting to the Test & Release Senior Manager, you will develop testing policies, promote Agile practices, and mentor staff to deliver high‑quality digital services for patients,

Qualifications

• Experience leading testing teams and testing governance.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, Agile delivery and software development lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Lead Testing Team, oversee planning, coordination and delivery of testing across multiple projects.
• Manage all aspects of the testing lifecycle, including planning, execution, defect management and reporting.
• Coordinate testing across SIT, ST and UAT while promoting best practice.
• Develop, implement and maintain testing policies, procedures and change control processes.
• Provide mentoring, guidance and support to colleagues across the Trust in test script development and execution.
