Job summary

Omega is seeking a Contract Manufacturing Technician for our advanced energy sector facility in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on testing, fault finding, and repair of electrical and electronic systems, with integration into the production team for calibration and testing of tools.

The ideal candidate has electrical or electronic engineering education or equivalent experience, and hands-on skills in soldering, crimping, wiring, and use of hand tools, following engineering diagrams and SAP

Qualifications

• Further education in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience with electrical/electronic testing and fault finding.
• Soldering, crimping, and wiring skills and use of hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Test, fault finding, and repair of various electrical and electronic systems and components.
• Work with the production team to help in the completion of tasks, including tool assembly, calibration, and testing.
• Testing electrical and electromechanical tools based on the procedure and interacting with SAP.
• Responsible for maintaining and repairing the test equipment used to test tools.
• Soldering, crimping and general wiring skills.
• Use of hand tools; fault finding; work in accordance with engineering diagram and schematics.
