Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in electronic assembly and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and specifications.
• Proficient with circuit boards and bench test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, disassemble, test, troubleshoot, and repair electromechanical assemblies.
• Troubleshoot electronic assemblies using bench equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
• Perform hand soldering of discrete surface mount components.
• Perform Electrical and Mechanical test operations as defined by routings, manufacturing instructions and drawings.
• Identify fault findings and propose rework activities for customers and developmental items.
• Work from blueprints, schematics, sketches, manuals, samples, and general instructions.
• Manufacture products to customer expectations while minimising waste and scrap.
• Identify faults in electronic and control equipment and support corrective actions.
• Remove and replace defective or failed parts. Support junior technicians where required and check quality of work.

This role involves the assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electromechanical assemblies, working closely with production engineering to support continuous improvement and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
