Job summary

Reed in Partnership is seeking a Test Centre Manager for its DVSA programme in the UK. You will oversee the operational delivery of the Test Centre, manage Test Centre and Senior Test Centre Associates, and ensure the integrity and compliance of all tests.

The role requires leading scheduling, training, performance reviews, and security compliance, with a 30-hour contract that may require evening and Saturday shifts across sites.

Qualifications

• Line management and performance management experience.
• Significant demonstrable experience in high-quality customer service.
• Ability to work under pressure and multi-task to complete activities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Flexible hours including evenings and Saturdays.
• Full UK driving licence (driving not required for all locations).
• Good IT skills: Word/PowerPoint/Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Be the central contact for staff and help fulfil vacant shifts.
• Maintain holiday records to avoid shift shortages.
• Check Power BI to ensure bookings align with the test centre.
• Review NSA’s weekly bookings and ensure facilities are booked.
• Provide scheduling support and rota creation as needed.
• Lead training for new staff and conduct performance reviews.
• Investigate complaints and ensure security protocols are followed.
• Oversee health & safety on site and property issues.
• Manage stock and property records.
