Job summary

Pearson VUE is seeking a proactive Test Centre Operations supervisor based in Stratford-upon-Avon to oversee daily centre activities and ensure security and quality.

You will manage test centre staff, coordinate scheduling, and uphold Pearson VUE standards across testing processes while delivering excellent candidate experiences.

Flexible hours and local travel may be required; Saturday and evening shifts required; full-time, on-site role with opportunities to advance within Pearson.

• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Comfortable in a quiet environment with good time management.
• Must be Pearson VUE certified for a Testing Administrator.
• PC literate with Microsoft Office and Windows.

Responsibilities

• Act as Line manager for all test centre staff regarding employee relations, training & development, absence management and performance management.
• Support the Regional Manager in recruitment issues and conduct staff interviews as required.
• Carry out 1-2-1 meetings, Performance Reviews and Development Reviews with staff as required.
• Maintain and update local site administration and documentation.
• Ensure all compliance standards relating to the test centre operation and Pearson VUE security protocols are adhered to.
• Create draft site staffing schedules and collect test centre time keeping records.
• Serve as the local contact point for operations, building management, site security, deliveries, vendors, etc.
• Verify correct staffing levels are maintained according to plan.
• Oversee day-to-day operation of the PPC, and coordinate with Regional Managers.
• Monitor supplies inventory and order within budget guidelines.
• Promote health and safety and ensure policies are followed.
