Job summary

Rubicon Consulting is recruiting a Test Automation Engineer for a 6 Months Rolling Contract, located in the East of England. You will develop automation test scripts for our next generation broadband products and services, and work within UK-based agile squads alongside software and networking engineers.

The role requires extensive Robot Framework and Python experience, plus Linux/containerisation and CI tooling knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience with Robot Framework and Python scripting for automation.
• Strong knowledge of Linux environments and container tech (Docker).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and issue tracking (Git/JIRA/Gitlab).
• Understanding broadband/home gateway standards and networking basics.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation test scripts for next generation broadband products and services.
• Deliver resolutions to complex cross-domain testing issues with high impact.
• Provide QA oversight of peers' work within matrix or agile teams.
• Work effectively within UK-based Agile delivery squads.
• Utilise Scrum/JIRA/Wiki to track and manage agile deliverables.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in testing and automation.
