Test Analyst

To support the Project Delivery Team in managing change and planning in line with company goals. The role provides assurance for projects and programmes through robust user acceptance testing, enabling informed decisions on solution sign-offs. You will collaborate with Business Analysts and Project Managers to define test plans, prepare scripts, and execute business perspective tests.

Your Tasks

1. Lead and conduct User Acceptance Testing, working with business users and IT to define and execute test plans.
2. Ensure testing methods, processes, and plans provide sufficient confidence that project objectives are met.
3. Follow Asendia’s test approach for end-to-end application solutions and oversee testing execution.
4. Define appropriate testing tools for each project or programme.
5. Coordinate with IT leads for technical support during testing phases.
6. Understand high-level E2E business and technical requirements and their implementation.
7. Assist in scoping and effort estimation for planned tests.
8. Lead meetings with Business and IT, communicate status and issues, and drive resolutions.
9. Ensure expectations with business owners are clear and recognize potential delivery risks.

Experience & Demonstrable Skills

• Degree or equivalent in IT or a relevant business discipline.
• Formal certification (e.g., ISEB) is advantageous.
• Agile training/qualifications or experience, including Scrum, Kanban, and Test-Driven Development.
• Experience in E-Commerce, Retail, Logistics, or Postal industries.
• Understanding of logistics and end-to-end parcel operations.
• At least 2 years of overall testing experience.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies, industry standards, and tools.
• Experience with Jira and collaboration tools.
• Proven ability to produce all test artifacts throughout the project lifecycle, regardless of project size.
• Strong relationship-building skills across complex organizations.
• Ability to manage multiple small projects concurrently across various business owners.
