Job Description:

We are looking for a Data Software Test Analyst to join the Frontier team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a fully homebased role but there will be a requirement to attend sites when needed.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test cases across various applications. You will collaborate with 1-2 teams at a time to understand the applications and changes being delivered, perform manual or automated testing, raise defects, and retest once issues are resolved.

About You

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in software testing
• ISEB/ISTQB Foundation certification or higher required
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Intermediate SQL knowledge is essential
• At least 3 years’ experience with Data bricks/ETL processes
• Knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language is desirable
• Experience in writing Test Reports
• Quick learner of new systems
• Interest or experience in automation testing
• Experience with JIRA and Agile methodologies is required
• Experience with Zephyr and APIs is advantageous but not essential

Your Role

As a Data Software Test Analyst, your responsibilities include:

• Reviewing business software requirements and providing feedback
• Producing manual and automated test cases and supporting data for multiple applications
• Prioritizing test cases
• Executing test cases, raising defects with detailed information, and reproducing issues as needed
• Analyzing test results and compiling test reports
• Collaborating with stakeholders and developers for knowledge transfer
• Working within a delivery team and independently when necessary
• Assisting and taking direction from Senior Test Analysts and Test Managers
• Reporting progress to management
