Tesco is seeking a Night Shift Lead to supervise store teams, deliver excellent customer service, and ensure smooth operations during night hours. You will coordinate tasks across departments, role‑model high service standards, and support colleagues to meet store goals.

The role involves leading in the Manager’s absence, adapting quickly to changing conditions, and maintaining a positive, inclusive team environment across shifts.

Tesco Shift Lead Night pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in stores within the M25. For all hours worked between midnight and 6am you will receive an additional night premium of £2.35 per hour worked. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we’re looking for, we still encourage you to apply.
