Job summary

Tesco is seeking a Shift Lead to coach and support store teams, ensuring superb customer experiences across all areas. You’ll lead in the Manager’s absence, balance decisions and adapt to changing needs while promoting inclusive collaboration with colleagues and customers.

You’ll schedule shifts within availability windows, champion service standards, and help build a positive, high-performing store environment that reflects Tesco’s values and commitment to customers and communities.

Tesco Shift Lead pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks' notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we're looking for, we still encourage you to apply.
