Job summary

Crawley College is seeking a Work Placement Coach to co-ordinate industry placements for students on full-time study programs and to support their employability.

You will deliver group sessions, workshops, and one-to-one guidance, helping students build confidence and enter the world of work in a flexible term-time role.

We welcome applicants seeking part-time or job-share patterns and offer a supportive environment with development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven customer service experience and organisational skills.
• A strong ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people at all ages and levels, verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team with interpersonal skills.
• An adaptable and proactive approach to problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with staff, students, and employers to co-ordinate and monitor industry placements and meaningful work experience opportunities for students on full-time study programs.
• Deliver targeted group presentations, lead workshops, and offer one-to-one support to help students develop confidence and employability skills.
• Promote work experience in all appropriate forums such as open evenings, taster days and induction.
