Job summary

Crawley College is seeking a Senior Work Placement Coach to lead and coordinate industry placements across study programmes. You will work with staff, students and employers to facilitate placements, monitor progress and ensure high standards of delivery.

You will line-manage a team of Work Placement Coaches, support colleagues with professional development and contribute to a student-centred learner experience. We welcome applications from those seeking flexible working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in customer service and negotiation.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people at all ages and levels, verbally and in writing.
• Time management skills, organisational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team with interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with staff, students and employers to facilitate and monitor the completion of industry placements and work placements for students on study programmes.
• Support the Progression Plus Manager in the coordination, implementation and delivery of high-quality industry placements and work placements for students on study programmes.
• Line manage a team of Work Placement Coaches to support them to deliver a high-quality service across defined college clusters.
