Job summary

Capita is recruiting for a full-time, term-time training role at HMS Collingwood/Portsmouth. The position involves delivering RN control systems training, both practical and theoretical, and using data to drive improvements across Royal Navy training programs.

You will work with the Learning and Development team to tailor the learner journey, and support piloting of modernised training courses. A Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification and a Level 4 teaching certificate are required, with

Qualifications

Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering is required.
Experience maintaining Control systems.
Level 4 teaching certificate or equivalent; internal training if not held.
Military Weapon Engineering Control Systems or equivalent experience.
Understanding RN WE departmental workings or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Deliver training on RN Control Systems for the RN WE Department.
Deliver both practical and theory based training.
Use data and insight on performance to drive continuous improvement across Royal Navy training.
Collaborate with Learning and Development to personalise learner journeys.
Communicate needs of Weapons Engineering Training to the Delivery Team Leader.
Support piloting and implementation of modernised training courses.
