Job summary

Ysgol Calon y Dderwen invites applications for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our Treowen Campus in Newtown. The role is fixed term until August 31st 2027 and 31.75 hours per week during term time.

You will work one-to-one and in small groups, supporting pupils to make progress and developing social, emotional and academic skills, in collaboration with teachers and senior leaders. We value motivation, reliability and a positive sense of humour, and we expect you to maintain high standards

Qualifications

• A track record of supporting primary school pupils.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to form positive relationships with children and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small group support.
• Deliver engaging sessions tailored to pupils' needs.
• Support progress and liaise with teachers and leaders.
