Job summary

Welshpool Church in Wales Primary School is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join the staff on a 16.5 hours FTC across Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The successful candidate will assist and support teaching and learning, work with individuals and/or groups, and help provide for the general care, safety and welfare of pupils.

The appointee will be subject to Powys County Council enhanced DBS disclosure and will require two references before taking up the post.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Experience supporting teaching and learning in a primary setting.
• Ability to work with individuals and/or groups.
• Commitment to pupil welfare and safety.
