Job summary

Eden Park Academy is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join our school team. You will support learning and pupil wellbeing in the classroom and small-group settings, under the guidance of teaching staff.

The role is fixed-term, 22.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, until 31 August 2027, with an enhanced DBS disclosure required. Closing date 16 October 2026; interviews 20 October 2026. Right to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with or caring for children
• Knowledge of safeguarding practices
• Fluency in spoken English
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to relate well to both children and adults

Responsibilities

• Support pupils’ learning and wellbeing in the classroom and small-group settings under guidance of teaching and senior staff
• Assist with planning cycles and prepare learning resources
• Promote positive behaviour and pupil independence
• Supervise pupils during breaks/lunchtimes
• Accompany pupils on trips when required
