Job summary

NextGen Teachers is looking for a compassionate Complex Needs Support Assistant to support children and young people with complex additional needs in a Leeds school. Experience supporting learners with autism, complex learning needs, medical needs or Down syndrome is highly valued.

• Experience working with SEN children is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support learners with a range of complex needs in daily learning
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging, differentiated, inclusive lessons
• Work flexibly across sites to meet changing learner needs
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
• Follow safeguarding procedures and promote pupil welfare
• Record progress and report concerns to staff and senior leaders
