Talbot House Children’s Charity is recruiting Specialist Support Assistants to work in our school for pupils from Reception to Key Stage 4. Class sizes are small, with a focus on SEN pupils with complex needs. Term-time hours are offered in multiple options, with competitive benefits and DBS support.

The role requires experience with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, trauma and attachment, and a commitment to safeguarding and welfare of children in a non-maintained specialist setting. Applications handled by HR.

• Experience of working with SEN pupils with complex needs including SEMH, ASD, ADHD, Trauma and attachment.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
• Support SEN pupils with complex needs in class and during activities.
