Job summary

South Lanarkshire Council is recruiting a School Support Assistant Team Leader for Black Mount Primary School in Biggar. The role is 32.5 hours per week during term time, with hours Monday to Friday 8am to 3.15pm (45 minute unpaid break). Salary ranges from £26,011 to £26,333 per year.

You will lead a small team and support pupils, families and staff with strong ICT and administrative skills. The successful candidate will have experience with children/young people in a formal setting, be capable

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children and/or young people in a formal setting.
• Able to demonstrate proven IT skills.
• Able to supervise and lead a team of staff.
• Flexible and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and work as an effective member of the support services team within a learning community, delivering a high-quality service which supports pupils and staff and contributes to a positive school ethos.
• Provide ICT and administrative support across a range of software applications, and evidence organisational skills.
• Work flexibly to include mornings and term-time patterns as required.
