Qualifications

• This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007; PVG Scheme membership or update is required before a formal offer is made.

Responsibilities

• Relieve teachers of non-teaching duties and assist with classroom administration and practical tasks such as preparing teaching materials.
• Support learning activities under the direction of the classroom teacher and colleagues.
• Support pupils with additional support needs including physical difficulties and challenging behaviour.
