Job summary

South Lanarkshire Council is seeking a part-time Cleaning Supervisor/ Cleaner for Forth Primary School. The role covers 15 hours per week (7.5 hours as Cleaning Supervisor and 7.5 hours as Cleaner) with shifts 3pm–6pm, Monday to Friday, in a school setting.

The successful candidate will supervise a team of Facility Assistants, monitor cleaning standards, ensure building security, and report health and safety issues.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning supervision is desirable.
• Ability to monitor cleaning standards and report issues.
• Knowledge of COSHH regulations and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning on floors, furniture, fixtures, fittings, and sanitary areas.
• Monitor cleaning standards and report issues to management.
• Set up rooms for lets and act as on-site responsible person for health and safety.
