Job summary

Pertemps Network Catering is seeking a Deputy Cook for term-time hours (Thursday and Friday, 15 hours a week) to help deliver healthy meals to pupils and support a busy kitchen. You will deputise for the Catering Manager when needed and assist with ordering and service, ensuring food safety and allergen considerations are met.

The role requires an enthusiastic, reliable team player with strong communication skills and a valid Food Safety Level 2 certificate.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals for pupils.
• Deputise in the absence of the Catering Manager.

• Keep kitchen clean and tidy.
• Be mindful of dietary and allergen requirements.
