Job summary

Stir is seeking a Relief Catering Assistant to support school kitchens across the area, delivering friendly, high-quality service and helping prepare nutritious meals. You will be part of a busy team, ensuring a welcoming dining experience for students and staff.

The ideal candidate shows enthusiasm for food service, good communication, and a can-do attitude. Driving license and access to a car are preferred; DBS disclosure is mandatory for safeguarding. Training is provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Friendly, versatile personality with energy for a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional customer service skills and enjoyment of interacting with people.
• Previous catering or food service experience is a bonus.
• Basic understanding of Health and Safety practices.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own car. Food Hygiene Level 2 training provided if needed.
