Job summary

Thinking Food are seeking a Catering Assistant to join their team based at Brixham College. The successful candidate will be accountable to the Catering Manager, working as part of the team providing nutritious and balanced meals to our students.

This role covers preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages, and keeping the kitchen clean and hygienic in line with Health & Safety and Food Hygiene requirements. The post is term-time only, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages
• Ensure the kitchen is kept in a hygienic condition in line with Health & Safety and Food Hygiene requirements
• Support general kitchen and cleaning duties to ensure smooth running of the kitchen
• Work as part of the Catering team with supervision by the Catering Manager and in a term-time schedule (Mon-Fri)
