Job summary

Bridgend County Borough Council is seeking a Relief General Kitchen Assistant for Litchard Primary School. The role covers preparation, presentation and service of meals while maintaining a safe, clean dining environment for pupils and staff.

Training will be provided to help obtain the Level Two Food Hygiene Certificate. Hours are 10:00–14:30, Monday to Friday, during term time, with cover at various schools across the County Borough.

Qualifications

• Assisting in preparation, presentation and service of school meals.
• Provide a safe, clean environment for pupils and staff.
• Must hold Level Two Food Hygiene Certificate; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, presentation and service of school meals.
• Lay out dining tables and chairs; operate touch screen terminals in some schools.
