Bridgend County Borough Council is seeking a Relief General Kitchen Assistant at Tondu Primary School to support school meal service during term time. The role involves assisting in the preparation, presentation and service of meals, ensuring a safe, clean dining area, and helping with setting tables; training will be provided for any required tasks.

Hours are 10:00–14:30, Monday to Friday, with cross-school cover as needed.

Qualifications

• Assists in the preparation, presentation and service of school meals.
• Maintains a safe, clean dining environment for pupils and staff.
• Covers at multiple schools within the county borough as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, presentation and service of school meals.
• Maintain a safe, clean dining area for pupils and staff.
• Lay out dining tables and chairs and, at some schools, operate a touch screen terminal (training provided).
