Job summary

Neath Port Talbot Council is hiring a part-time lunchtime kitchen assistant at Awel Y Mor Primary School. This role is 5 hours per week, term-time only, Monday to Friday 12:15pm–1:15pm.

You will help run the lunchtime service, maintain hygiene, wash up, set up/clear away equipment, and assist with meal preparation for young people. No formal qualifications are required; training in basic food hygiene will be provided, plus relevant safety courses.

Responsibilities

• Washing up.
• Setting up and clearing away equipment and tables.
• Cleaning of kitchen, its surrounds and equipment.
• Assisting in the preparation of meals for young people.
• Working in accordance with Food and Health and Safety Regulations.
