Chigwell Primary Academy is hiring a Catering Assistant to support a busy school lunch service. The role involves preparing fresh fruits and vegetables, basic cooking tasks, and serving meals to pupils under the supervision of the kitchen manager.

You will also assist with cleaning and general kitchen duties to ensure a smooth service. The position is 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term-time with 5 inset days.

Qualificações

• Experience in school catering or child-focused environments is preferred.
• Ability to work under supervision in a busy lunch service.
• Awareness of food safety and hygiene basics.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare simple meals and fresh vegetables under the kitchen manager.
• Serve meals to pupils and staff with a smile.
• Help with washing up and general kitchen duties.
• Assist with moving tables, cleaning dining areas, and maintaining hygiene.
