Job summary

Kirkham Pear Tree School is seeking a Catering Assistant to join the school kitchen team on a fixed-term contract until 31 December 2026. The role is 10 hours per week during lunch, Monday to Friday (11.15–1.15pm), term time only, with opportunities for training and progression within Lancashire County Council's School Meals service.

You will help prepare and serve healthy meals, support kitchen and cleaning duties, and contribute to a positive lunchtime environment for pupils.

Qualifications

• Previous catering and food-preparation experience is essential.
• Reliable and able to contribute as part of a team.
