Job summary

Ely College is seeking a dedicated HR Officer to provide transactional and operational HR support across the school. The role covers the employee lifecycle, recruitment, absence management, monthly payroll and maintaining records.

The post works within a hub of Meridian Trust schools and involves occasional travel to Meridian sites. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, able to handle conflicting priorities, and possess strong administration skills.

Qualifications

• Administration of the employee lifecycle.
• Experience in recruitment and absence management.
• Payroll processing and payroll month-end tasks.
• Maintaining Single Central Record and personnel files.

Responsibilities

• Provide transactional and operational HR support to staff and leaders.
• Administer employee lifecycle and recruitment processes.
• Manage absence and payroll tasks on a monthly basis.
• Maintain confidential personnel files and the Single Central Record.
