Job summary

Meridian Trust in the Cambridge area is seeking a field-based HR Adviser to join the Core HR team, providing professional HR guidance to schools across the Trust and supporting recruitment when needed with HR transactional work and ER case advice.

The role involves supporting schools in the Cambridge/Ely area, with some travel to other Trust schools. The post holder’s base will be decided on appointment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in HR Administration.
• Driving License and reliable access to a vehicle.
• Strong and demonstrable administration skills.
• Willingness to undergo further training and development.
• Positive and enthusiastic approach.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional HR advice and support to schools across Meridian Trust.
• Support HR colleagues with basic training and with recruitment where needed.
• Assist with HR transactional work and advice on straightforward ER cases.
• Support HR colleagues in carrying out day-to-day HR tasks in schools.
