Job summary

Ely College is seeking a dedicated HR Officer to provide transactional and operational HR support across staff and leaders. The role covers employee lifecycle, recruitment, absence management, payroll, and safeguarding records within a busy school environment.

You will join a core HR team serving a hub of Meridian Trust schools, with bi-weekly online meetings and annual in-person development days. Occasional travel to Meridian Trust sites is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR Administration.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Willingness to undergo training and development.

Responsibilities

• Administer the employee lifecycle and recruitment processes.
• Manage staff absence and monthly payroll.
• Maintain the Single Central Record and confidential personnel files.
