Job summary

The Mead School in Royal Tunbridge Wells is seeking a School Crossing Patrol staff member to ensure the safety of children and pedestrians during school hours. The role is part-time, term-time only, with 2 hours per day across morning and afternoon sessions, 34 weeks per year.

Responsibilities

• Safely manage pedestrians crossing at a designated school site and halt traffic as required.
• Ensure pupils are on the footpath before allowing traffic to proceed.
• Operate and report any hazards or obstructions to the highway environment.
• Attend required training and adhere to safeguarding, data protection, and health & safety policies.
