Job summary

Westfield Secondary School is seeking a friendly, part-time crossing patrol to help children and families travel safely to and from school during term time. You will patrol several local sites and support learners at the start and end of the school day.

This outdoor, all-weather role requires reliability and punctuality. Full training is provided; an Enhanced DBS check is carried out and a uniform is supplied.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check will be carried out.
• Must be able to converse in English as required by law.
• No formal qualifications required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Help children and families travel safely to and from school.
• Cross with a stopping sign and maintain safe crossings.
• Report incidents or hazards to school authorities.
• Adhere to uniform and training requirements.
• Attend training sessions and DBS checks as required.
