The Mead School in Royal Tunbridge Wells is hiring a School Crossing Patrol to help children cross safely at a designated site during morning and afternoon sessions.

You will work term-time only, 2 hours per day, Monday to Friday, 34 weeks a year, earning £12.74 per hour. The role focuses on safe pedestrian and traffic flow management and requires adherence to safeguarding policies and English fluency.

Qualifications

• Must meet safeguarding and child protection requirements.

Responsabilités

• Ensure the safety of pedestrians crossing the road at a designated school crossing site.
• Maintain control over pedestrians awaiting instructions to cross the road.
• Report problems with the patrol or highway environment that may risk safe operation.
