Job summary

Thomas Franks Ltd in Surbiton is seeking a General Assistant to join a busy catering team for a term-time contract at a school. You will assist with serving customers, restocking and maintaining hygiene across service areas during daily meal periods.

You should have experience in fast-paced catering, be reliable and adaptable, and willing to work evenings or weekends for events. Free meals on duty and other staff benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Support the team with serving customers, replenishing stocks, cleaning.
• Prepare service areas for each meal service.
• Serve, clear, clean and store away food, beverages or equipment for functions.
• Prepare basic food following hygiene and safety standards.
• Restock stocks during service and manage wastage.
• Handle rubbish/recycling properly.
• Occasionally work evenings and weekends for events.
• Follow Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies.
